Finals

My love,

It's final's week and I know this first semester back in school has been a difficult transition for you.  I know it's tempting to belittle yourself about the level of care and attention you put into your studies.  It's tempting to lay in with that critical voice and point out all of the flaws with what you have accomplished so far... But don't.

Why?

Because you can do nothing about the past but learn from it.

Because you've already accomplished so much.

Because at the end of the day, you know you can do it.

So, don't give up.  Hang in there.  You know what you need to know.  You know that you can do it.  So just do. Think instead of the amazing practitioner you're going to be when you graduate and the people you will be able to help.  Think of your potential impact as an individual human being on so many lives.  Think about that moment when you arrived at your first day and you cried because you realized that this was where you needed to be and how that was also the moment you realized that as an acupuncturist you are going to be a super hero to so many- including me.

Work hard, kick some test butt and remember how far you have come.  Remember you are awesome, my super hero babe.
